This coming weekend sees the start of the 2009c series in both the Historic GT & TC Cups.
The format has been changed somewhat, so you may need to familiarize yourself with the new layout of both championships.
Most importantly, both Historic championships are now NOT fortnightly! There will be Historic GT & TC cup racing whenever there is NOT a Real Formula One Championship race.
This means more racing NOT less. The Real Formula One Championship follows the Real F1 calendar exactly.
There has been a poll running for the past month to determine the impact of ingame chat, as with many polls the responces were fairly minimal with only 30 making the effort to make a choice.
There are two sides to the debate to chat or not to chat. The general consensus is that there should be no chat. While I personaly feel that the quick chat thank you and sorry add to the friendly atmosphere at RaceConnect, i do get distracted by longer sentances during qual and race.
On the 1st of August RaceConnect's very own DTM Championship begins.
Based on Germany's DTM championship this series will run an inhouse
modified DTM mod by Tom Phillips. Based on the DTM 2007 series this
championship is sure to bring some fantastic racing, much like the real
thing with close competitve and often hard fought battles throughout
the field. Tom has enhanced the physics to ensure such great racing is a key feature in every race. Click read more for
full details, track list and car choice.
Without doubt rFactor reigns supreme, with its value for money and its versatile edge, quite simply a game that keeps giving.
Of course with some of the great mods come some of the worst mods, but that's to be expected. Many many times a mod may not get the gold stamp that is the "Hall Of Fame", and in most cases this is an agreed yardstick. Every now and then a mod comes along that doesn't seem to recieve the attention it deserves.

known for their power and ear shattering sound whilst retaining great handling, as a result the Pro Car Series thrived on the sheer appeal of the car.
Now it is your chance to drive one of the best GT cars of its era on a
selection of classic F1 tracks. Due to the limited setup changes on these cars, expect close and hard fought races. Click read more for details and the season one track list.

Despite my announcement last night we are going to stick to official 2008 qualifying rules. So its parc ferme, but you can change tires. However the difference between these rules and previous parc ferme rules is that you do not get the fuel credited back to you after qualy. So the fuel you end qualy with, is the fuel you will start the race with. YOU DO NOT GET CREDITED BACK WITH THE FUEL YOU USE IN QUALY.
