Following the recent trend of wreck fests and generaly diabolical driving standards the RaceJury has decided that the old way of dealing with reports was not getting the message across to all members, so we have decided now to open a court.
The RaceConnect Court will operate as follows:
Incident reports will be submitted using the new incident report form. We the Jury will view the replay and we will investigate the reports. Instead of emailing only the reported drivers we will post our findings and any penalties in the RaceConnect Court Forum. The driver we find guilty then has the opportunity to place 1 forum post in answer to our verdict and the forum will then be locked following our answer.
Any other postd in the court forum will be deleted. This forum is intended to deal with the incidents in a more open manner so all can see justice handed out.
The RaceConnect Court day will be Thursday, this is the day we will open threads for the previous weeks incidents and the named parties will have untill midnight BST on the Sunday to make their appeal. At midnight BST on the Sunday all open threads for the week will be locked but will remain viewable.
We realise this open approach is going to upset some drivers. But our way of thinking now is if it upsets some, what are they frightened of?
This decision has been brought about by events this past week where there have been 2 races that would have brought shame to an open server. RaceConnect will not stand for this total disregard of the rules.
_________________ We the Jury do not personalise any judgement we make. We only judge the incident in question not the drivers. All penalties are to be applied at the RaceConnect Admin's descretion
