I was invited along to The Race Centre ( http://www.theracecentre.co.uk/ ) during the week for a race evening.
It's a venue Just North of Southampton that has 8 (perhaps 10) linked up race pods. Momo steering wheels, custom pedals, large projection screen right in front. All running our beloved race sims (I saw them running rFactor and GP Legends.)

We raced all evening on GP Legends around Watkins Glen and it was great. They had a 20 min practice session for everyone and then they just kept throwing us into races until we ran out of time.

If ever there was a need for a RaceConnect get together, then this and a karting event would surely be good candidates! Only issue is probably the location for most.

I went to a simular place in Hong Kong, called 'Sideways' that ran rfactor. One of the testamonials on the website said 'So much better than Karting'. I disagree 99%, the only things better are that you can talk to one another while doing it, and drink beer!

Sounds Good to me about 1hr 15mins away.
